ü  Things you should know


ü  If you happen to over salt a pot of soup or food, just drop a peeled potato.


ü  The potato will absorb the excess salt.


ü  When boiling egg add a pinch of salt.

ü  This is to keep the shell from cracking.


ü  Never put citrus fruits or tomatoes inside the fridge or refrigerator.

ü  The low temperature degrades the aroma and the flavor of the fruits.
ü  (that`s why our tomatoes don`t last in the fridge)


ü  To clean iron cooking wares don`t use detergent.

ü  Just scrub them with salt and a clean, dry paper towel



ü  When storing empty air tight container.

ü  Throw in a pinch of salt to keep them from getting sticky


ü      if you are making gravy (stew) and accidentally burn it.
ü  Just pour it into a clean pan and continue cooking it.

ü  Add sugar a little at a time to tasting as you pour so as to avoid over sugaring the stew.
ü  The sugar will cancel out the burned taste.

ü  Separate your bananas and place each in a different location.
ü  Bananas release gasses which cause fruits to ripen quickiy.

ü  Separating them will keep them fresh longer.
